LETSCOOK GLOSSARY
Cashew Nuts
Cashew nuts are often found in Chinese style recipes. Our recipes assume they are roasted, unless stated otherwise.

You can buy cashew nuts either salted or unsalted - check individual recipes for what you should use. When cooking with salted nuts, be careful not to add too much salt to the recipe - the salt from the nuts may well be enough. You can of course use unsalted cashew nuts in place of salted ones, but may need more additional salt than normal for the recipe.
